Coronavirus Updates – Staying Healthy

Updated May 18:

As of Wednesday, May 20 we will be back to regular opening hours. Full-service towel dry car wash is now available along with full interior detailing. You may also remain in your car for exterior washes and oil changes. To enter the waiting area for additional car needs and service payment, masks must be worn. We will continue to take healthy and safety precautions with every vehicle and maintain social distancing when possible.

For exterior washes while staying in your car: Once you arrive, slowly put your vehicle into neutral (check your owners manual if you have any trouble, keep your foot off the brake and your hands off the steering wheel and let it go. You’ll pay on exit and we’ll ensure to maintain social distancing standards throughout. Thank you for your continued support.

Keep your car safe in case of emergencies and we’ll do our part to minimize the spread of germs during your service appointment.

Stay safe, stay strong, stay healthy!

As schools in our area close, events continue to be cancelled and public health concerns are on the rise, we here at the Darien Car Clinic want you to know what we’re doing to help our customers and our staff say safe during this time. As we’re sure you are aware the CDC recommends the following:

  • Clean your hands often by washing or using hand sanitizer
  • Avoid close contact with people who are sick, limit handshakes and hugs
  • Stay home if you are sick or have a fever
  • Cover coughs and sneezes – throw used tissues immediately into the trash
  • Clean and disinfect public areas regularly

In addition to these guidelines, the Darien Car Clinic is ensuring your safety by regularly disinfecting all public areas as well as asking staff to wear gloves when and where it is appropriate. We will be offering a disposable steering cover with every wash and lube helping to ensure limited transfer of germs. We will have promotional Purell available as well as a limited supply of Lysol.

Safety is our priority for our patrons and our staff. Travel needs are changing, and social distancing is the recommended course of action. Should you need your car serviced, we will be remaining open and taking every precaution. Be sure your car is ready to go with a full tank of gas, recent oil change and any cleaning necessary to ensure you’re ready to go anywhere you might need as quickly as possible.
